Urban Ghosts and Legends: The Cinema of Tsai Ming-liang
-
presented by The Film Society of Lincoln Center
June 29 - July 12
Born in Malaysia and raised in Taiwan, Tsai Ming-liang makes movies that get
under your skin and burrow their way into your consciousness. Join us for
this retrospective of Tsai's work, which includes his terrific debut "Rebels
of the Neon God," the beautifully controlled "Vive L'Amour," the cheerfully
apocalyptic musical "The Hole," and the New York premiere of Tsai's 1998
"The River."
