"The Mission", absolutely represents the contemporary style of Film making in Hong Kong. I have been watching Hong Kong films from the days of John Woo's "Killer", but Mission has a different taste to it. Character development is very well depicted, not so much through the diologues, but through action and their facial expressions. I specially liked Roy Cheung's character, as a Pimp, he escorts hostess to his wealthy customers and smiles while he earns his tip. Soon we as a viewer realize this guy is hell of sniper. One scene that I really like to mention is the shooting scene in the abandon warehouse, where Roy Cheng and one of the sniper goes off at it, missing shots literally by inches, without moving a muscle unitl they run of shells. The next scene is where Roy Cheng grins at the other sniper with a huge cut on his face. Other charcters like WuChenWu, and HwangChewSheng is very interesting to watch.
